Her
lawyer, Stephen Scaring, denied Lizzie got VIP handling, but her spokesman, Dan
Klores, said she deserved a break.

Who are you going to
to believe? Lizzie's Lawyer or an inmate who was locked down 23 hours a day and
suffered the consequences of the convicted felon's VIP treatment?
Spokesman,
Dan Klores "She's had to walk through the media gantlet time after time
after time," he said. "It's about time she got a gift." - "A
gift? What did she do to deserve a gift from the people?" - Webmaster
Under sheriff Walter Denzler
"I'm
not contributing to the circus," Undersheriff Walter Denzler said. That is
the reason for Lizzie's exit through the tunnel away from the public eye.
Suffolk Undersheriff Walter Denzler wouldn't say why Grubman was led out a side
door.
"Its
interesting to see Undersheriff Walter Denzler protecting a convicted felon from
the public. I thought a sheriff's job is to protect the public from criminals,
not criminals from the public. I guess this is another text book example of
criminals having more rights than the general public, endorsed by the sheriff no
less" - Webmaster
Lizzie's Jail mates speak of their
fellow inmate:
"Money talks," newly freed Craig
Mack, 23, of Wyandanch said, waiting on the curb for a ride that seemed as if it
would never come. "I didn't get half the [perks] she got ... "
During her prison stay, 15 inmates threatened a
hunger strike and complained loudly - because they believed they had been locked
in their cells 23 hours a day to protect Grubman from them, one inmate told The
NY Post.
The inmate, released yesterday, said she and the other
convicts had been "in 24-hour lockdown because of Lizzie."
The inmate, who asked not to be identified, said they were being
"penalized" and guards let only one prisoner out of her cell every
hour. She said they couldn't watch TV and had to eat in their cells "just
so we don't walk by her cell."
"They give her special treatment and special food. She said she's a
vegetarian and she wasn't eating. She'd flush some food," the inmate said.
The inmate claimed the situation stopped only when she and several other
unhappy inmates were transferred out of Grubman's cell block.
Funniest quote from the Lizzie Grubman
saga:
"Most of the inmates were rather fond of her,"
said defense attorney Stephen Scaring.
"Well, of course, they had a lot in common!" - said JazzMann
